Technical Information

With an exceptionally powerful air flow rate of 7,470 m3/h for its size, the Inverter condensing unit Area iCOOL Slim 12 MHP is a functional and adaptable condensing unit suitable for medium to large-scale commercial and industrial applications. This condensing unit features an excellent surface area to capacity ratio and versatility with proven adaptability in operations with different requirements. Supplied with a 710 mm diameter fan and weighing 170 kg, the dimensions of the  Area iCOOL-12 MPH are, without doubt, one of its main perks. Measuring 471 mm in width , 1286 mm in length and 858 mm in height, it is an ideal component for installations in which reduced dimensions are required, without compromising on high performance. The unit is provided with a liquid receiver tank of 10.0 dm3, , has got  7/8’’ and 1/2’’ suction and liquid connections, uses FV68S oil, and is compatible with compressor model C-SBS180H00B. Another of the key features of this condensing unit are its reduced noise levels at only 39,3dB, made possible by the acoustic insulation installed on all sides of the compressor compartment. The Inverter condensing unit Area iCOOL Slim 12 MHP has received the highest European and global safety certifications (CE, REACH, RoH and TUV), complies with the ECODESIGN standard, and is compatible with multiple refrigerants (R404A, R448A, R449A).

Inverter condensing unit Area iCOOL Slim 12 MHP types of refrigerants

What pressure does R404A refrigerant work with?
R404A refrigerant requires a normal pressure level of 0.1 PSI at its lowest temperature of -45.6 °C, and 455.1 PSI at its highest temperature of 65.6 °C, as indicated by its temperature pressure chart.
Why is R404A refrigerant important?
Although the use of R404A is in decline in recent years due to its Global Warming Potential, it is a frequently used refrigerant due to its non-toxic and non-flammable properties.
Which refrigerant gas replaces R404A ?
R404A is a frequent substitute for many CFC and HCFC refrigerants, such as R-12 and R-502

What pressure does R448A refrigerant work with?
R448A refrigerant gas requires a running pressure of 46.6 bar (4600 kPa or 667 PSI) to be liquified at its critical temperature of 83.7 °C.
Why is R448A refrigerant important?
R448A is important as it is a reliable and safe refrigerant with non-flammable properties and a minimal Global Warming Potential.
Which refrigerant gas replaces R448A ?
R448A is widely used as an alternative to refrigerants such as R404A and R22.

What pressure does R449A refrigerant work with?
R449A refrigerant needs a critical pressure of 44.5 bar (4400 kPa or 638 PSI) to change state to liquid at its critical temperature of 81.5 °C.
Why is R449A refrigerant important?
The use of R449A is extensive due to it being a non-ozone depleting gas with low toxicity and non-flammable properties. Moreover, it has a minimal Global Warming Potential, making it a safe and reliable refrigerant or different types of applications.
Which refrigerant gas replaces R449A ?
R449A is a common substitute for refrigerants R404A and R-507.
