Hermetic rotary compressors are a type of compressor commonly used in HVAC systems to compress refrigerant gas. They are sealed within a hermetically sealed housing, making them more efficient and durable than other types of compressors. They operate by using a rotating motion to compress refrigerant gas and increase its pressure, allowing it to be circulated through the system to cool the surrounding air.
